Cheryl Kinshella

Cheryl Kinshella completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2008. Prior to that Cheryl completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Northern British Columbia.

Cheryl has completed additional training since completion of her degree and uses that knowledge to provide an integrative Physiotherapy experience. She continues to study trauma, the nervous system, social justice, integrative medicine, yoga, and mindfulness.

She treats in a holistic (whole person) manner and uses the Physiotherapy assessment to guide the use of all the tools in her toolbox which allow her to treat the whole person through education and collaboration in movement therapy, lifestyle management, sleep hygiene, injury recovery, chronic disease management, and trauma.

Cheryl understands each person has a different path to healing and individualizes each treatment plan accordingly. She schedules all appointments on an hourly basis (unless otherwise discussed) with time between sessions to allow the client the space and time to receive a unique and client-centered approach.

Cheryl is now taking bookings at Wild Roots.
