Wild Roots is now offering Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, beauty is viewed as an expression of health, balance, and vitality. The condition of the skin reflects the nourishment of Qi, Blood, and the health of the body's internal systems. Rather than focusing solely on external signs of aging,

Cosmetic Acupuncture seeks to address the underlying patterns that influence how we look and feel.

Each treatment begins with a comprehensive Chinese Medicine assessment, considering factors such as stress, sleep, digestion, hormonal balance, circulation, and overall well-being. By supporting the body's natural balance and encouraging the free flow of Qi and Blood, Cosmetic Acupuncture promotes healthy skin from within while supporting your overall health.

Then, Fine facial needles are combined with body acupuncture points to enhance circulation, support collagen production, and encourage the skin's natural regenerative processes. Treatments are designed not only to improve the appearance of the skin, but to cultivate a sense of vitality, radiance, and wellness that extends beyond the treatment room.

Specifically, Microneedling ( this is not required ) may be incorporated as part of your personalized treatment to further support skin renewal and collagen production.

When combined with Cosmetic Acupuncture, this integrative approach helps improve skin texture, tone, and overall complexion while remaining rooted in a holistic view of health and healthy aging.

Baylea Philips is both a Registered Acupuncturist and a certified in Microneedling Service Provider .

Micro needling cannot be claimed under extended health benefits.

For best results, a series of treatments is often recommended, depending on the individual's goals and skin condition.

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses a device with very fine, sterile needles to create tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural healing response, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin — the proteins responsible for skin strength, firmness, and elasticity.

Microneedling is commonly used to:

  • Improve fine lines and wrinkles

  • Enhance skin texture and tone

  • Reduce the appearance of acne scars and other superficial scars

  • Minimize enlarged pores

  • Improve the appearance of sun-damaged or aging skin

The treatment is minimally invasive and typically involves a short recovery period, with temporary redness and mild sensitivity for 24–72 hours following treatment.
